The lights in the room would be Activated by a motion detector. That can be quite irritating as the lights get switched on in the middle of the Night by Minor movements outside the bedframe.

I will stay again in the future, can’t beat the location.

The concierge Desk on ground was wonderful! John’s service was excellent!

The check in process was a mess, I didn’t get to my room almost 4pm after I have been pushing them. They said because I was stay longer and booked the room with a view, sound like it was my fault.

breakfast is good , location is very good near Taipei main station.

Best location in Taipei with quick access to all major spots

The location. Just a few minutes walk from Taipei station. There are underground passages from the station to the hotel via an underground shopping mall with lots of shops on the way to keep the shopaholics busy and you don't have to worry about getting wet on a rainy day or the noisy traffic. I actually like the dark interiors of this hotel. Your eyes adjust to the light (or lack of it)after a few minutes inside the hotel. I requested a room on the higher floor and got a very good room on the 12th floor with a spacious bathroom, toilet, and a big bathtub. Very nice panoramas of Taipei from my room even though my room was not in the center of the hotel. The breakfast spread was terrific with a lot of options to choose from. In fact, I skipped lunch after a heavy breakfast on every day of my stay.

There's nothing to dislike here.

Location wins, can be so much more if room interiors are more refined.

Proximity to Taipei station. The renovated hotel corridor is nice Also is good to adopt reusable water jug

For the price the facility is a bit dated and old fashioned. The room lighting dimmer system slow on scene change. Lack of universal plugin near bed. Tub is difficult to access even for adult Drape for toilet/bath separation not ideal. We had end bay rooms and seems you can look into another room if both drapes are pulled up..

Friendly staffs, cozy and quiet atmosphere, very covenient location, broad range of breakfast menu. Had great stay in an exective floor.

unique room layout, especially bathtub next to a entrance door...but you'd finally get used to as it is big enough to relax yourself after rambling through the Taipei city.

Beautiful hotel, rooms were very good.

The swimming pool is not inside the hotel. this is a massive disappointment. this wasn’t made clear on the websites when booking. There is no bar or area for drinking beer

First rate hotel at an unrivaled location but..

.. what is apparently supposed to feel like a castle feels more like a cave. Extremely dim, actually dark inside. You better carry a torch with you in all public areas, particularly the (otherwise excellent) restaurant.

Great location, close to almost anything I want to. Very comfortable bed, room is a little small for the rate we paid. Overall, I’ll stay again for the convenience!

The room was spacious and the bathroom was absolutely nice! I loved the design of the room and we had a comfortable sleep. The hotel is located right in the centre, connected to Y underground path so it was so easy for us to explore the city from the hotel. All the staff who responded my emails before arrival were polite and professional.

The lobby and the breakfast area are way too dark. We couldn’t see the breakfast on our own plate at the table. Also it is decorated way too much it didn’t make us feel relaxed. Too many mirrors. The staff at the breakfast reception didn’t seem to know what they are doing.
